Practical notes

  1. Keep firmware updated from the brand’s official site, and change the default password at first login.
  2. Give each camera a fixed IP address, or use the NVR’s plug-and-play PoE ports where the model has them.
  3. Note the serial number before mounting the camera; warranty claims need it.
