1 Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep. Browsers also offer local storage, which lets a website keep data on your device without sending it to the server on every request. This policy covers both.
It applies to this website. Other websites we link to, including manufacturers' sites and WhatsApp, have their own policies.
2 What this website stores
| Name | Type | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| dmd-enquiry-v1 | Local storage | Keeps the products you add to your enquiry list (model, name, brand, category, page link, image and quantity) so the list stays available as you move between pages. | Until you remove the items, send the list or clear your browser data |
| dmd-catalog-view | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose the list or the grid layout on product listing pages. | Until you clear your browser data |
Each item supports a feature you choose to use, so it is stored without a consent banner. None is shared with anyone, and none is used for tracking or advertising. The enquiry list reaches us only if you send an enquiry that includes it.
3 Advertising and analytics
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tools on this website by default, and we do not build advertising profiles of visitors.
Our hosting provider may keep server logs of requests, such as the IP address, browser type and pages requested. These are not cookies. The privacy policy explains how we handle them.
4 Maps, WhatsApp and other third-party content
- Maps. The contact page may show an embedded map. If it does, loading the map connects your browser to the map provider, which can set cookies and receive your IP address under its own policy. You can use the directions link, where one is given, instead of loading the map.
- WhatsApp. Buttons and forms that open WhatsApp take you to WhatsApp, a service of Meta. Its own cookie and privacy practices apply from that point.
- Manufacturers' websites. Links to datasheets, drivers and manuals lead to the manufacturers' sites, which have their own policies.
Fonts and icons load from this website itself, so they do not connect your browser to a third-party service.
5 How to clear or block storage
You can see, block and delete cookies and stored site data in your browser settings.
- Chrome and Edge: open Settings, search for cookies, choose to see all site data, and delete the entries for this website.
- Firefox: open Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data, and choose Manage Data.
- Safari: open the browser's privacy settings and choose Manage Website Data.
Clearing site data for this website empties your enquiry list and resets your layout choice. A private or incognito window clears it when you close the window. You can also remove items from the list on the enquiry list page.
6 If this changes
If we add analytics, advertising tools or other non-essential cookies, we will update this page and the privacy policy first, and ask for your consent before setting them where the law requires. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
